Save the date for the 2nd Stakeholder Forum of the EU Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) pilot programme in Hannover, Germany, 7 and 8 April 2014. Rescoll has been kindly invited to present its feedback on past year work by European Commission.
The ETV Stakeholder Forum is an opportunity to hear about the first results of the ETV pilot programme after one year of operation, to exchange information about emerging environmental technologies, discuss how technology performance can be verified through ETV and what difference it makes on the market. The event will also showcase companies with experience in ETV and the first ‘Statements of Verification’ will be handed over to technology developers during the Forum.
The event will take place during the world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology, Hannover Messe (which will be held from 7 to 11 April 2014), and will be linked to the Metropolitan Solutions and IndustrialGreenTec fairs. It will include free access to the Hannover Messe and walking tours under different topics.
This event is organised by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Environment with the support of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz, Bau und Reaktorsicherheit – BMUB).
The ETV Stakeholder Forum will take place in parallel to the 16th European Forum on Eco-innovation and to the EMAS meetings/awards ceremony. Common exhibition space and events will enable participants in the different fora to meet and create new contacts on eco-innovation and eco-technologies.
More information on ETV and on the Stakeholder Forum is available on the ETV website. Registration will open soon. See also the European Fora on Eco innovation website.
Note: Due to the high number of visitors who are attending the Hannover Messe (around 220 000 every year), it is advised that you book your hotel now. Otherwise you may have difficulty finding a room in the vicinity of Hannover city center (within 100 km). To find a hotel, visit the Hannover city website.
